Why four cameras

Front Β· Rear Β· Left Β· Right

You can only look one way at a time.

A car rolls into you at a light. Someone drifts over while you're checking your mirror. Then you're standing on the shoulder, and it's your word against theirs.

It watches ahead, behind and both sides at once, all onto one card. So when someone asks what happened, you don't have to argue about it. You can show them.

Four cameras for $99.95. Front, rear and both sides recording together, all four on one screen, and a 64GB card already inside. Free US shipping and 30-day returns.

Features

See it from every side.

Four Cameras

Front, rear, left and right, recording at the same time. Each camera saves its own file, so you can watch one moment from every side.

1080P Front Camera

The front camera records in 1080P. In daylight, that's sharp enough to read the plate of the car you're stopped behind. The rear and side cameras watch everything else around the car.

Four Feeds, One Screen

All four cameras show at once on the 2.9-inch screen. Five buttons on the unit switch views and settings, so there's no phone or app to deal with.

64GB Card, Already Inside

Nothing extra to buy, and nothing to clear out. It holds roughly four hours of all four cameras, and when it's full, it records over the oldest footage on its own, so there's always room for today's drive. (The card shows about 58 GB once formatted, a bit under its label. We tested every byte.)

Sees the Cabin at Night

Both side cameras have infrared lights. Turn them toward the cabin, and they keep recording inside the car after dark.

Swivel Side Cameras

Both side cameras are built onto the unit and turn 180 degrees. Point them out the side windows to catch side-swipes, or turn one toward the cabin when you have passengers.

Setup

Three steps. No tools.

The Dashwatcher Pro on its suction mount behind the mirror
Step 1

Mount the main unit.

Suction mount on the windshield, behind the mirror, screen within reach. Flip the lever to lock it. The camera lifts off without taking the mount down.

The Dashwatcher Pro rear camera
Step 2

Run the rear camera.

Tuck its 20-foot cable along the headliner to the back window, and stick the camera to the glass with its adhesive bracket.

The 12V plug on the end of the power cable
Step 3

Aim the sides. Plug in.

Turn each side camera to point out the side window. Then plug its 11-foot cable into the car, tuck in the wires, and format the card once from the menu. It took one of us ten minutes, with no tools.

What's in the box?

Everything in the Dashwatcher Pro box: main unit, rear camera with bracket and cable, mount, 12V plug and manual

Main Unit + Rear Camera

The side cameras are built into the main unit, which rides on a suction mount. The rear camera comes with its own 20-foot cable and an adhesive bracket for the back window. A manual comes with it.

64GB Card, Already Inside

It ships in the slot. Format it once from the menu before your first drive, and it's ready.

Everything to Power It

Plugs into the car's 12V socket on an 11-foot cable, long enough to tuck along the headliner and down the pillar. The adapter works in 12V and 24V sockets. No tools needed.

Common questions.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping is free. Orders are processed in 1 to 3 business days and typically arrive 4 to 9 days after that, with a tracking number on every order. If yours hasn't arrived 14 days after it ships, email us and we'll take care of it.

Is there an app?

No app needed. Everything is on the 2.9-inch screen and the card, so there's nothing to pair or update. To save a clip on your computer, pop the card into a card reader.

Is it 1080P on every camera?

The front camera records in 1080P. The rear and side cameras record in 480P.

Does it record while I'm parked?

It records every time you drive. For recording while parked, the menu has a parking setting for use with a hardwire kit.

Does it record sound?

Yes. Sound is on out of the box, and you can turn it off in the menu anytime.

Is this the one for rideshare?

Yes. You can point the side cameras toward the cabin, and it works just fine for rideshare.

What if it arrives broken?

Email us right away and we'll replace it or refund you. You have 30 days; send back everything that came in the box. There's no restocking fee, and returns go to an address in California, not overseas.

How is it different from the Core?

The Core skips the rear camera and comes with a 32GB card. The Pro watches all four sides and doubles the card to 64GB.

What happens when the card is full?

It records in 3-minute files, and the card holds about four hours of all four cameras. When it's full, it records over the oldest files on its own. Turn on the crash-file lock (G-sensor) in the menu, and a clip with an impact in it is locked so it won't be recorded over.

I bought this for my teenage daughter. Having the inside and rear cameras gives me peace of mind. The video is clear enough to see details.
